At 10 years young, Mr Ted is a very happy little fellow looking for someone to share his life with.
He's a Maltese/Chihuahua cross, weighing in at just under 5kg and is a lovely little companion.
He enjoys his walks, is good with other gentle, friendly dogs and travels well in the car, so he's quite happy to come along for the ride.
At the end of the day, he loves to sleep on the bed snuggled up against your leg.
Ted would be happiest in an adult home without children, where he can enjoy his quiet time, walks, outings and plenty of quality time with his people.
He's healthy, vet checked, desexed and vaccinated. Now all he needs is a home of his own.
Adoption $895
They arrived into our care after living in difficult conditions, however, despite their past, they are both incredibly loving, loyal little dogs.
Bonnie and Zelda adore people and are happiest when they're close to you, enjoying pats, cuddles and reassurance.
Zelda has a calm, affectionate nature, travels beautifully in the car and just wants to be loved.
Bonnie is smart, funny and sassy and waits for her dinner like a meerkat sitting up on her hind legs.
They are seeking a calm, secure home where they can thrive as much loved companions.
A home with children over 12 would be suitable.
These girls require a home with no other pets.
Experience with Chinese Crested dogs is required as they're a unique breed with their own special needs.
They'll require regular skin care and protection from the sun.
Both Bonnie and Zelda have been vet checked, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated
Adoption $995 each. Must be rehomed together.

Oreo is still very much a puppy with lots of energy.
He's clever, eager to please and thrives on praise and positive reinforcement which makes him a great candidate for someone who will enjoy continuing his training and watching him flourish.
Oreo loves being part of the action, chasing a ball, splashing in the water, snuggling up on the lounge or just being part of what you're doing.
He's house trained, sleeps through the night, travels beautifully in the car and already knows to sit and wait before meals.
Like many young dogs, he's still learning and will need patience, guidance and consistency to settle well and grow in confidence.
New places and unfamiliar situations can make him excited or a little unsure and he can be wary of some men.
He'll need a secure yard where he can burn off energy and a family committed to providing his ongoing training, setting clear boundaries and offering him plenty of enrichment.
Oreo forms strong bonds with his humans and doesn't enjoy being left alone for long periods.
He can become mouthy and will jump up during over excited play, so he'll be best suited to an active home with experienced owners who can redirect his enthusiasm and energy appropriately.
Oreo will make a loyal and loving companion and will do best in a home without children.
A quiet natured female dog may work for him although he will probably do better as an only pet.
Adoption $995
Mia absolutely adores people and seems to think every dog she meets is an instant friend.
She's gentle, affectionate and a pleasure to walk or take to any social situation.
She even thinks going to the vet is awesome.
Because Mia is vision impaired, she'll need a home that understands her unique needs.
She can be easily startled if someone approaches quietly from the side, so she needs calm, patient people who will always let her know they are there.
Gentle handling isn't just preferred for Mia - it's essential. She has the sweetest nature and deserves humans who will treat her with the same kindness she gives so freely.
She would also benefit from someone who is home a lot or able to take Mia with them when they go out.
Mia does require daily eye drops which she takes in her stride.
A home without stairs is also a must. Mia has no depth perception, making stairs unsafe for her.
The wonderful news is that Mia is otherwise a happy, healthy young dog.
4 Paws will cover any veterinary expense related to her eye condition for life (conditions apply).
Her adoption fee will be waived.
Mia must remain on the Sunshine Coast where she can visit our vet at Warana for any required treatment for her eyes.
She is best suited to a home without children.
A small, gentle dog companion would be welcome.

Meet Gerry!
He's done it tough in recent times, finding himself homeless as a stray. Gerry originally came to us from the pound and whilst we've got to know him quiet well now unfortunately, we have no history on him.
We do know he's a senior (approx 8-10) and that he's very sweet and happy.
He has a gentle temperament and would be a good companion for another older, quiet dog.
Gerry has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and has had some dental work completed.
Given this and his age, he'll become part of our Permanent Resident program.
Despite his tough times, Gerry is a really joyful little dog.
He's very affectionate, loves to shadow you around the house and sleep on the bed.
He loves playing with his squeaky toy and will put a smile on your face with his funny antics.
Gerry absolutely loves going out in the car. He gets so excited to see the car door open, he'll jump right in ready to go on an adventure with you.
He also enjoys a walk and goes well on a lead.
We're looking for a loving, forever home where he will be treated with kindness and patience in his golden years.
As a permanent resident, 4 Paws will cover Gerry's vet care for life.
You must reside on the Sunshine Coast and be willing to take him to his routine vet appointments at Nicklin Way Vets in Warana.
The pair must be rehomed together.
They are a delightful duo looking for a home where they can continue to build on the wonderful progress they've made in foster care.
Since coming into 4 Paws care, they're grown in confidence and continue to thrive with patience, routine and reassurance.
They're affectionate dogs who enjoy being with their people and are always keen for a treat and a cuddle.
Walter and Poppy are playful little dogs who enjoy their toys and short play sessions with their favourite person.
They will benefit from a home where they can continue their training and will be given the time they need to settle in.
They respond well to positive reinforcement and encouragement.
Walter and Poppy will be best suited to an active retired couple or a family with older teenagers who have the time and commitment to help them continue on their journey.
Walter is vet-checked, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Adoption $995 each.
Must be rehomed together.

They’ve been very loved companions who adore attention and being close to their people.
We’re told they’re a bonded pair and, while we get to know them better, it’s clear they take comfort in each other’s company.
Ballerina, the chocolate poodle, is 5 years old and the social butterfly of the pair.
She loves everyone she meets and would happily play fetch all day if given the chance.
Sweet, affectionate and playful, she brings the fun wherever she goes.
Romeo, the Maltese, is 4 years old and appears to be the more sensitive of the two. He bonds deeply with his people and is happiest curled up close beside you.
Romeo can be wary of men, particularly those in high-vis workwear.
Romeo and Ballerina are used to being spoiled with love and attention.
They sleep on the bed, enjoy being close to their humans and are looking for a calm, loving home where they can settle.
We’re looking for a home on the Sunshine Coast with no children and no other pets please.
Adoption - $995 each

He is full of energy and fun, with a happy, wagging tail.
He's always keen to get involved with terrier business and sniff out an adventure with his people.
Gary currently weighs in at 10kg.
He will thrive with someone who understands and has previous experience with Jack Russell's.
Gary's ideal forever home would be somewhere where he can have regular exercise with a family that can match his energy levels.
What Gary needs:
🐾 A home on the Sunshine Coast
🐾 A home with no other animals
🐾 A family/person with knowledge of the Jack Russell breed.
Adoption $895
She's a very affectionate girl who very sadly became a victim of the homeless crisis.
She's a young, healthy dog with a lot of energy and happy to live with other dogs.
Slinky is very food motivated and will be open to training. Her foster carer reports that she does suffer from some separation anxiety which is understandable given her history.
She manages that better with the company of other dogs.
She enjoys her walks and playtime and will need a home that is a good match for her energy levels.
Slinky is desexed, vaccinated, vet checked, microchipped.
Adoption: $995
