The cats shown below are all in need of a safe home, either on a temporary Foster basis, through Adoption or by joining your household as a 4 Paws Permanent Resident.

Please note, in line with Sunshine Coast Council guidelines, all 4 Paws Animal Rescue cats are to be kept as 100% indoor cats, unless supervised in a secure outdoor run, ensuring that they are contained to your property at all times.
Gizmo - ADOPT
Gizmo is available to ADOPT
Gizmo is a very handsome, 6 year old, Russian Blue who has recently arrived into our care.
He was sadly surrendered by his adoring owners due to their ill health.
He is a friendly, confident lad who has settled in quite quickly at the cattery, considering, it's a huge change of circumstances for him.
He enjoys a good chin scritch and will make a friendly, gentle, companion cat for a lucky owner.
Gizmo enjoys exploring and would benefit from an outdoor cat enclosure, although it's not a must.
He would prefer to be your one and only and receive all of your love and attention to himself.
It would give his original owners great piece of mind to know that he has found a loving, forever home.
He's a healthy boy, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home to his new family.

Penny - PERMANENT CARER
We are seeking a PERMANENT FOSTER CARER for Penny.
10 year old Penny was been reluctantly surrendered. She came from a home which she shared with 5 other cats (they have also been surrendered).
Penny is FIV positive, whilst she doesn't require medication and shows no signs or illness she cannot be homed with other cats.
When Penny first arrived into our care she was
extremely timid and hid a lot, since being in temporary foster care Penny has grown in confidence, she now loves pats and chin scratches.
Her temporary carer notes that "Penny has been around 10 year and 12 year old children with no issues at all and that she is up there with the nicest cat she has ever taken care of".
Due to Penny's age she will remain in our care as a 4 Paws Permanent Resident.

He's plainly been a much loved boy, he is friendly and gentle.
Mac is a little timid at the moment after his move into the cattery.
This quite understandable given the huge change he's gone through.
However, he comes out to say hello to our volunteers and enjoys a pat.
He's also happy to be brushed, which helps to keep his beautiful coat in a healthy condition.

Sweet, senior Sophie the seal point Ragdoll is urgently looking for a Permanent foster home.
Sophie is 12 years old and needs a special home that she can call her own.
Her existing carer is unable to look after her any longer and ideally we'd like to transition her to another loving home rather than to the cattery.
Sophie is a laid back, placid and very friendly cat. She doesn't mind being brushed and groomed.
Sophie has come from an only pet household and her previous owner has mentioned that she doesn’t really get on with other cats.
