Echo

Hi Julie
ECHO is a beautiful boy and we all love him so much.

He is a big sook and ties to please us all the time. We are all surprised at how obedient he is and he has a lovely calm nature.

Echo enjoys his bath but is too scared to swim in the pool although we did get him to stand on the baby step and get a little bit wet Him and Jorgie adore each other and love going for a walk to the lake or a drive in the car.

We hope Jorgie will learn to behave like him one day as she is very naughty at times .. Echo loves chewing shoes and has taught us to put them away but really that is his only vice .. thanks so much for helping with the adoption.

Regards
Beverley

Tessa
Tessa

Hi Lyn
TESSA had her photo taken out the front of the stairs in her new home.

It is a beautiful photo belonging our lovely new family member.

I am not sure Harvey the cat thinks that Tessa so welcomed in her home.

Tessa and Harvey lie down together sometimes without any worry .. so in time they will be great.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to love her.

Bye for now
Jude

Tia  (Teddy)

Hello 4 Paws
I thought I would just drop you a line to let you know how my first week has gone in my new home with my New Staff.

I have managed to convince them that my name is now Tia after a huge debate .. numerous .. some quite dreadful .. choices and am training them in other ways.

They do now know that the rocking chair is mine .. as is the back .. seat and arm of any of the four lounges in the house along with all the beds and my own basket.

Concerning food .. well I am more of a meat than a fish girl but the smoked salmon was almost as nice as the duck Whiskers and I must say the chicken curry the younger staff members gave me was rather tasty .. luckily there was no sauce just chicken breast.

Tia
I have not yet ventured outside .. although I am enjoying looking at those pesky magpies and they seem to be getting the hint .. all in all I am settling in well and enjoying my Forever home .. thank you for helping me when I needed you most.

Tia

Hi 4Paws
Just an add on form a devoted slave .. Tia has really settled with us and is giving us so much more than we could ever give her .. she sits on our knees .. purrs her head off and plays with her mice (toy) like a kitten .. we are so happy to have her and thank you for your devoted care.

She was very good on the long car journey .. sitting in her travel cage with her head on my fingers and only meowing once or twice .. even purring on occasion .. we held a massive debate/competition (prize a Freddo!) for her name .. as we wanted her to have a new name to go with her new life and found she did not really respond to Teddy in any case .. we ended up with about 60 names to choose from!

Thank you very much!
Kate .. Joe .. Danielle and Dominique .. also known as The Staff.

Sebastian  (Teza)

Hi Jean

I could not resist giving you an update on SEBASTIAN .. he now LOVES it outside.

I have been gradually introducing him to the outside world and from yesterday we just leave doors open so he can come and go as he pleases.

Paul was laughing about it .. said he hopes Sylvester teaches Sebastian how to go to the toilet outside.

Sebastian bolts inside to go to his litter tray grabs a quick snack when he is finished .. has a cuddle .. then bolts back outside again!

He is so funny and has really bonded with us.

We have attached a photo I took this morning .. he loves sitting in our garden pavilion where I feed our native birds .. rosellas .. lorikeets .. galahs .. honey eaters and anything else that drops by.

Sebastian also loves to play with the butterflies and bees in our gardens .. well actually ANYTHING THAT MOVES!!

Hope all is well with you at 4 Paws.
Cheers Debbie and Paul

Keisha

Morning Julie
Just touching base with you to add a wonderful Success Stories of which there are many I am sure.

It is about our Keisha who has the most adorable expressive eyes.

I go walking every morning and here are some photos of my walking partner Keisha and her other best buddy Sir Harry my cat.

Keisha is vary wary of Sir Harry as you can tell.

They love one another and run 100 miles an hour chasing and hiding from each other every day .. it makes me tired just watching them.

Just wanted to say thank you again

News on Lovely Kayla

Hi John .. Kathie and Julie .. how are you all?
Cadell and I just wanted to send you a quick message to give you an update on how our lovely Kayla is going.

Over the past few weeks she has settled in beautifully and is loving her new home and we are loving her!
Kayla

Kayla is spoilt with lots of walks at Sandgate and has made a few friends there both canine and human.

She loves the water and although she is not the best swimmer in the world .. Cadell has had to save her a few times.

She has a new found love for chasing blue crabs on the beach .. Kayla is extremely persistent and will not give up even when the blue crabs retaliate and snap her on the nose.

Kayla is a very lovely girl .. very obedient and patient and she is great with the cats.

For the first few days we even wondered whether she had sight problems as Kayla did not even turn her head when the cats walked past.

From about day 2 we have been able to have all three animals in the same room without any difficulties .. which is a real blessing as we wanted all the animals to be happy.

All in all Kayla seems to be enjoying her new life and likes to spend as much time at our feet as possible .. she has the most affectionate nature.

I know she misses you all though and would always be happy for a visit so if you are ever in the neighbourhood do give us a call.

I have attached some photos of her playing at Sandgate and at the offleash area and cuddling into Cadell at home .. I hope you enjoy seeing her again.

We visited the vet the other day and Kayla is in good health .. a little on the overweight side .. but with all her exercise I am sure she will be in shape real soon.

Thanks again for finding this angel for us

Chops  (Cappy)

Hi Julie
As you know we welcomed Captain into our family on Friday.

Chops is the most delightful little boy!!

We took him camping and boating on the Saturday coming home again on Sunday.

I was slightly worried in case he took fright and ran off but he did not.

In fact he was so good .. it was amazing!!

Chops stayed at the caravan and went for walks with the kids and at no time did he take fright.

He went on the boat with us .. Chops was abit timid at first but after about 20 minutes he had his happy tail again and we enjoyed the day on the water.

Mind you .. Chops was exhausted when he got home!!

Chops is a wonderful addition to the family and I am so thankful that he is with us now.
