Reggie was a darling little 8 year old male Pomeranian X .. he was a timid little boy .. such a very affectionate and cuddly guy .. Reggie past away in June 2008. |

THE AWSOME FOURSOME
| This is our family of babies .. the last of whom passed away last Friday 19th October 2007 .. they were all with us when we moved up here to the coast from Tasmania in 1995 ... the oldest .. Jasmine (Chinchilla) was born March 3rd 1982 and she died August 1997 aged 15 years and 5 months and is buried under a yellow Cassia Tree .. Jasmine daughter Chloe was born October 23rd 1983 and died January 4th 2001 aged 17 years and 3 months and buried under a Yellow Golden Penda.

Chloe's son Willy was born November 25th 1987 and died March 10th 2006 aged 18 years and 4 months and is buried under Bird of Paradise .. on November 26th 1991 Lily was born and we took her into our hearts in January 1992 and she was such a joy .. I must admit she was the apple of MY eye and for all her years apart from the few times I was away somewhere .. she slept next to me every night with paws folded into my hand and wet cold nose tucked under my wrist

Lily had two beautiful Siamese litters in 1993 and 1994 and I had her desexed to move to the Sunshine Coast .. they were all so happy on the acre of land .. they would all follow us and play with each other along the block and all slept fairly close to each other .. Lily was the last of the awsome foursome and she missed Willy terribly since he died 18 months ago .. they are all gone now and Lily's passing will take some time to heal.

They gave such unquestioning love and were the rock in our lives .. always here waiting when we would get home.I just know they are all off together now playing somewhere nice .. as you can see on the success story page .. we now have two new members of the family .. Joey and Beejay and they are just wonderful and they help heal the decision to call the vet to the house last Friday .. after all the love they give to us it is the final act of love and unselfishness to give them your eyes and face as the last thing they see.
Goodbye Lily .. we miss all of you

Sugar passed away 24th February 2007 .. she will be missed by her Mum Sharleen and her 2 playmates Bobby and Banjo.

Timmy the Timid
May 2006 - 26th February 2007
Timmy the timid was a gorgeous male German Shepherd X .. he was just 9 months old born approx: May 2006 .. still a baby .. he had been living with his Foster mum Melissa for nearly 5 months which was more than half of his young life .. Timmy did finally get his new family but due to unforeseen circumstances Timmy accidently died on 26th February 2007 leaving a huge hole in Timmy's dear Foster Mom Melissa's heart .. the 4 Paws Team are heart broken also at this sad loss of life .. Timmy the Timid as Melissa called him will be thought of often and missed terribly.

My lovely Ben
Cowered with head hung he stood in the sun .. chained to a wall his owners gone.
Two days had passed no one had been .. no food or water appeared on the scene.
Don't interfere I wouldn't be told I must go in but my blood ran cold.
With a bucket of food at the end of a broom I approached with caution giving him room.
The teeth were bared and the eyes shone red but I spoke to him gently .. kept my head.
In time I got closer setting him free .. walking slowly away he followed me.
You have to be mad cried my usual calm Vet Your hearts ruled your head again I bet
Finish it now .. it’s kinder that way the dog is trouble .. you'll rue the day
Ben's eyes met mine so full of despair this wasn't his fault it’s just not fair.
He's suffered enough how much can he stand?
As I pondered the question he licked my hand.
Ok .. you win .. I'll give you one chance.
Deep down I knew he would lead me a dance.
But what do I do if he still wants to bite?
I can't put him down .. it’s just not right.
The next months weren't easy in fact .. they were tough .. my patience was stretched the going was rough.
But love was the answer .. love saved the day.
Big cuddles .. good food and a warm place to lay.
Our boy is now settled .. life is a breeze.
He travels this earth in comfort and ease.
As time progressed his confidence grew and he now welcomes others .. we have quite a few.
How could they mistreat him .. how could they not see.
The Dog needed loving a chance to be free.
But they are the losers .. we won the prize.
A dog full of joy .. a soul grown wise.

Buster
Time is of no consequence when so deeply loved
Buster departed his home on earth on the 1st April 2006 .. but whilst he was with me for such a short time .. it was as if he had been with me forever .. such was our friendship.
I think of you every day Buster boy .. our stoic old man and you will never be .. but just a memory.
